Paragliding Festival "ParaBunloc 2011"

Among the many exciting things Brasov has to offer, paragliding is an unforgettable experience that must be tried at least once in a lifetime. And what better place to fly (accompanied by an instructor, of course) than the pristine Carpathian mountain area of Romania?

During the first weekend of summer (June 3-5, 2011), Brasov is hosting the first edition of the Paragliding Festival "ParaBunloc 2011" which brings together about 100 pilots from all over the country to compete among themselves in several flight competitions. Additional, tandem paragliding flights are offered to those interested in experiencing adrenaline rush.

The participation fee is 50 RON, which covers accommodation, meals and chairlift transportation.
